We are looking for a passionate and creative Music Photographer to join our team. This role requires a merge of technical photography skills, a deep understanding of the music industry, and the ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments. It’s essential to have a passion for music and be willing to learn, grow and showcase your ability to convey the energy and emotion of live performances through photography.
Key Responsibilities:
– Live Event Photography: Capture compelling images of live music performances, including concerts, festivals, and etcetera. Focusing on both wide-angle shots that capture the atmosphere and close-ups of the artists.
– Artist Photography: Conduct photoshoots with musicians and bands for promotional materials, album covers, press releases, and social media content.
– Event Coverage: Document music-related events such as press conferences, album launches, meet-and-greets, and behind-the-scenes activities.
– Photo Editing: Edit and process images using software like Adobe Photoshop.
– Collaboration: Work closely with artists, event organizers, and marketing teams to understand the vision and requirements for each shoot.
– Content Delivery: Provide high-resolution images in the required formats and within the agreed timelines. Ensure proper file organization and backups.
– Social Media & Marketing Support: Provide images for use on social media platforms and assist in creating visually engaging content to promote music events and artists.
– Equipment Management: Ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition and ready for use.
– Trend Awareness: Stay updated with current trends in music photography and continually improve skills and techniques to produce innovative content.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a photographer particularly in live music photography.
– Proficiency in photography equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop).
– Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of composition.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and personalities.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
– A deep passion for music and understanding of different music genres and cultures.
– Willingness to travel and attend events that may require long hours.
